| choose a rootstock that have thick stems and healthy. |
| choose a good scion (age 5-7 months - length 3-5 cm.) that have atlease one bud and have its size a bit smaller than the rootstock. |
| Use Sharp and Sterile knife. This is very important factor. |
| Cutting Adenium branch or stem. Wait until 2-3 day before you plant. It will reduce rot. |
| Grafting, common method - Use bigger adenium plants as rootstock and graft with other adenium plant. |
| Cut rootstock stem like " V " shape about 1.5-2 cm. depth, at height 5-10 cm. from base. |
| Cut scion carefully so it will fit with rootstock and remove some leaves, remain 1-2 leaves only. |
| Use plastic tape or small plastic bag to wrap around the union to avoid water flow through inside. |
| Use some proper material coat at the top to avoid infect. (picture 6) |
| Wrap with plastic bag to keep the humidity. (remove plastic bag to spill some water every day and wrap it back) |
| Place your graft adenium plant at shade place or use paper to prevent over heating inside the plastic bag. |
| Remove the plastic bag after 7 days. |
| Remove the grafting tape once the union is really well formed. Usually take 20 to 30 days. |
